The Civic Association has been regularly sponsoring clean-ups of the Parkway intersection (I-376 and South Braddock Avenue) several times each year to keep this major gateway to our neighborhood well-groomed and welcoming. The next clean-up is schedule for April 20th at 9:30AM in conjunction with Nine Mile Run Watershed Association with volunteers to meet at the lower parking lot of the CLASS building at 1400 South Braddock Avenue. To help us plan for vests, gloves, etc., please contact Jon Danzak at 412.241.2345 or jon@danzak.net to volunteer. Gloves, safety vests, water and some breakfast goodies will be provided. The clean-up will happen, rain or shine with the exception of an extremely heavy downpour or thunderstorm.
